About The Major

Watch out for an impressive sting!

Under the scope of Faculty of Communication and Multimedia, the Visual Communication Design Department at BINUS UNIVERSITY was founded on 1999 and achieved outstanding accreditation from DIKTI (Grade A) in 2004.

Since 2004, there have been seven graduations with the total of 550 students. Our industries and communities have counted our products and the abilities of our alumni. They are not only hearing but also chatting about our graduates. Our teaching staffs have also become part of a bigger family. 70% of them come from the professions; the others have had educational careers. The lecturers bring real working experience to the teaching process, guide the students towards a professional attitude in both design process and presentation, and knowledge of marketing and information technology.

We pleased with our achievement, but we still have long way to go. In the global era, the role of educational institutions is becoming more important as a creative industry problem solver both now and future. It is our challenge to become distinct and qualified. We can keep our heads up, but we have to look down every once in a while if we want to walk the road ahead with confidence.
