The creative industry is growing rapidly. Many existing graphic design schools are being expanded. Global competition demands professionals who have graduated from reputable design schools that have armed their students with the appropriate knowledge and skills to be ready to face many challenges. They also need to be up to date on currently applied technologies and information in order to enhance their creative performance in the media they happen to be working in.
General Objective
The objective of the BINUS INTERNATIONAL School of Art & Design is to nurture and cultivate the unique qualities of each student through the implementation of a suitable curriculum. Most of the lecturers are graduates of reputable overseas universities, and all courses are delivered in English. The program prepares and encourages talented students to pursue careers in the visual and design industries.
Specific Objective
The School of Art & Design offers a graphic design major focused on encouraging innovation, while stressing strong technical and presentation skills. The comprehensive curriculum prepares graduates to pursue a wide range of careers in industry. Students learn to design advertising campaigns, compact discs, logos, multimedia and interactive applications, packaging, posters, publications, web pages, 2D and 3D animation, as well as learning about the printing trade and producing printed material for their portfolios.
The current curriculum is in line with the requirements of the national curriculum released by the Indonesian Department of Education. The curriculum is continually being updated in line with the requirements of industry. Thus, graduates of the program will be well prepared to face global competition at local and international level.

The Art & Design program offers single- and double-degree options. This provides students with the opportunity to continue their study overseas at one of our partner universities. Currently we have partnerships with Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK.
Students must complete 146 SCUs (minimum) to graduate. This takes four years of full-time study.
Options are :
1. Single Degree (four years full-time study at BINUS INTERNATIONAL) with S.Sn degree.
2. Double Degree (three years at BINUS INTERNATIONAL and one year at partnership university (Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK). Graduates will be awarded two degrees, Sarjana Seni (S.Sn) and Bachelor of Arts (BA).
